Vestas builds the wind turbines that increasingly power Europe and Latin America. Behind every installation sits a value chain — sales, project, service, finance, supply chain, HR, quality — and during this engagement that whole chain was being rebuilt on SAP, region by region.
I started as the SAP trainer for the Project division (300+ people across twenty-plus week-long courses) and grew into a team lead role rolling out SAP across the Mediterranean and LATAM. Alongside the implementations I ran the Lean Six Sigma program, defined the global Cost of Poor Quality metric, and reported the results up to the CEO and SOA leadership.
