Epic Plays

Social network for athlete growth, monetization, and sport management.
Epic Plays is the flagship product of Epic X — a sports networking and NIL platform built from a blank Figma file to thousands of monthly actives. The brief was simple and unforgiving: make a place where athletes can grow an audience, manage their teams, and get paid, without the noise of a generic social feed.
I owned the work end-to-end — product strategy, mobile-first UX, A/B-tested onboarding, a matching engine running on over a million embeddings, and the GTM playbook that put it in front of real athletes. I led a nine-person engineering and design team shipping weekly. The result is a consumer product with a clear point of view about who it's for and how it pays its own way.
